Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms condemned the kidnapping of the national team player "Kung Fu" Marwan Ahmed Hadi in the Mocha district during his return from Sana'a to his place of residence in the Hodeidah Governorate.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the organization stated that the Arab champion in the sport of "kung fu" Marwan Hadi was kidnapped and disappeared by the UAE-backed mercenary forces led by Tariq Saleh.

The organization indicated that it had received another report that the mercenary forces had kidnapped the media and sports analyst Abdullah Hammoud al-Kawbani on the main road in Ma'rib Governorate, while he was passing through the Falaj point on his way to Seiyun Airport, where he was arrested and placed in a secret prison.

Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms stressed that the kidnappings are considered acts contrary to values, morals, national laws and international charters, and a flagrant violation of the rights of travelers and citizens.

The kidnapping of the player Hadi and the sports journalist Al-Kawabani was considered a targeting of Yemeni sports, after the national junior football team won the West Asian Championship, demanding their speedy release and the punishment of those responsible for their kidnapping.
