Bloody U.S. Escalation Targets Sana'a and Saada Amid Disgraceful International Silence

International Interests | 26-04-2025

On Saturday evening, U.S. warplanes continued their military escalation in Yemen, targeting the capital Sana'a and Saada province with a series of intense airstrikes, resulting in material damage and civilian injuries.

A local source reported that U.S. aircraft carried out air raids on Bani Al-Harith District in northern Sana'a, using highly explosive bombs. The strikes caused widespread destruction to homes and shops, and injured eight people, including two children, according to an initial toll announced by the Ministry of Health. The bombings also spread panic among women and children.

The U.S. warplanes also launched airstrikes on Al-Sabeen District in central Sana'a, causing severe damage to properties.
The source added that one of the airstrikes hit a house near the Lebanese Hospital in the 14th of October neighborhood in Al-Sabeen District.

Civil defense teams rushed to the targeted sites to provide assistance.

In Saada province, the U.S. airstrikes targeted Kitaf District with four raids, while three consecutive strikes hit the outskirts of Saada city, continuing attacks that affect civilian areas and the livelihoods of local residents.

This escalation comes amid ongoing international indifference to U.S. violations against the Yemeni people, alongside growing warnings of a worsening humanitarian catastrophe as the airstrikes persist.
