Hospitals have turned into overcrowded chambers filled with emaciated bodies of children and the elderly, weakened by hunger and exhaustion — a harrowing scene that demands immediate international intervention.

According to official medical sources, as of Tuesday, healthcare facilities in Gaza have recorded the deaths of 86 civilians due to acute malnutrition, including 76 children — a toll that highlights the scale of the catastrophe and exposes the grim reality of the starvation policy enforced by Israeli occupation authorities on the people of Gaza.

Thousands of residents — particularly children and the elderly — are suffering from severe shortages of food and essential medicines, as a result of the tightened Israeli blockade on border crossings and the obstruction of humanitarian aid.

Medical teams reported that some deaths occurred due to the complete lack of infant formula and therapeutic foods necessary to treat acute malnutrition.
