The Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms holds the Israeli entity fully responsible for the criminal aggression that targeted the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, on Sunday, August 24, through a series of airstrikes on civilian sites, including the Haziz power station, a fuel station, an electricity substation, and the vicinity of the Presidential Palace.
According to the Ministry of Health in Sanaa, the assault left two people dead and 35 others injured as an initial toll, marking yet another crime in the ongoing chain of Israeli violations in the region.
The targeting of civilian facilities and vital infrastructure constitutes a full-fledged war crime and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, carried out in full view of the international community, which remains powerless in the face of these repeated assaults.
The Insan Organization stresses that continued international silence amounts to complicity and calls for a clear and decisive international stance—free of equivocation—to bring the Israeli entity under international law and norms, and to hold it accountable for its crimes.
