The ceasefire agreement approved by the Israeli occupation in late October 2025 has become nothing more than ink on paper, as the Israeli war machine has continued committing crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip, in blatant defiance of international law, UN resolutions, and the will of the international community.
The bloodshed in Gaza continues unabated. Every day brings new victims who are killed under relentless Israeli bombardment targeting homes, residential neighborhoods, and displacement shelters, amid shameful international silence and an ongoing failure to put an end to these crimes.
Over the past few hours, the Israeli occupation has continued its attacks against civilians in the Gaza Strip. A residential apartment caught fire for several hours after being struck by Israeli warplanes near Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, resulting in the deaths and injuries of civilians. The incident reflects the persistent danger threatening civilian lives even in the vicinity of medical facilities.
In Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, intense Israeli airstrikes completely destroyed an entire residential block, causing widespread devastation to homes and private property and further worsening the suffering of thousands of families already facing death, displacement, and starvation simultaneously.
These ongoing crimes demonstrate that the Israeli occupation continues to treat international calls for an end to the aggression as mere statements requiring no compliance, while civilians in Gaza continue to pay the price with their lives, their homes, and the future of their children, in one of the most painful humanitarian tragedies of the modern era.
