Introduction to the organization:

A non-profit, non-partisan organization established in response to an urgent need in the field of defending human rights and violations committed against (detainees - abducted civilians - victims of war and siege). Insan organization realizes that the suffering of the victims worsens with it the suffering of families as a result of the material consequences of enforced disappearance, interruption, arbitrary detention and all victims of war and siege, and therefore Insan will work to provide the necessary legal support and various types of material, psychological and health assistance.

Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms is a human rights organization that seeks to protect and defend people from enforced disappearance and arbitrary arrest. Our organization aim to contribute in enhancing Human rights by raising awareness of Human Rights. It attempts to provide protection for illegally-detainees, and become their voice in the world. Moreover, it provides legal support for them and struggle for their rights. It provides them and their families with economic, social and cultural rights with a commitment to advocate, follow up and exercise pressure on all parties that commit violations and expose their injustice. We carry on our mission until achieving full justice for all those affected by the conflicts.
Observing Human Rights in the country. Reporting the violations of Human rights that occurred by any party of the conflict. We highlight the injustice against civilians who are internationally protected persons. Limiting and reducing their suffering, whatever the form of that violation. On the other hand, calling to respect human beings and their rights in peace or during armed conflicts as well.
1. Increase the level of Human rights awareness in the society.
2. Protecting people from enforced disappearance and arbitrary arrest and defending their rights.
3. Active participation in protecting rights of the civilians affected (detainees, kidnapped civilians - victims of blockade and destruction caused by wars).
4. Supporting victims and their families by enhancing their economic, social and cultural rights. Meanwhile, attempt to undo their injustice.
5. Reporting any violating of human rights occurred by any party of the armed conflict. In addition to, applying pressure and launching campaigns against whoever carry out arbitrary arrests and enforced disappearances.
6. Documenting cases of detainees and forcibly disappeared people and mobilize popular opinion. Besides cooperating with governmental and international organizations
7. Providing the necessary support to the affected civilians (enforced disappearance, arbitrary arrest, victims of war and blockade).
