The Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms strongly condemns and denounces the operations carried out by the United States of America on the night of Saturday, April 26, 2025. In a barrage of violent and horrific airstrikes targeting civilian areas, fear and panic spread especially among women and children. The airstrikes targeted the home of a civilian in the Al-Rawda area in Bani Al-Harith District of the capital, Sana'a, resulting in the injury of eight civilians, including two children. Another series of strikes targeted a house near the Lebanese Hospital in the Al-Sabeen District, causing a civilian woman to become trapped under the rubble — with rescue teams still attempting to retrieve her as of this moment. The raids also caused extensive material damage to citizens' properties.
Additionally, U.S. warplanes launched four airstrikes on Al-Jawf Governorate, four airstrikes on the outskirts of Saada Governorate, and a series of strikes on Ras Issa Port in As-Salif and Kamaran Island in Al-Hodeidah Governorate.
These attacks constitute a clear, serious, and ongoing violation of the international humanitarian law charters, blatantly targeting residential neighborhoods and facilities essential to civilian needs, which are protected and prohibited from being targeted under international law, all amid the continued silence of the international community.
The Insan Organization urgently calls upon all free people, activists, and human rights and international organizations to fulfill their role in exposing America's crimes and violations in Yemen, its disregard for all international laws and conventions, and to stand in solidarity with the Yemeni people by demanding an end to the targeting of civilians and turning them into a bank of American military objectives.
